Beginning of Objectives
The HK Research Unit seeks to understand the domains and variety of their derived phenomena of ‘local’ and ‘global’ observed ‘between’ the neo-Northeast Asian cultural area (China, Japan, and Russia) and other cultural areas in the frame of ‘Glocal Culturalism.’
Humanistic approaches to the study of the culture of neo-Northeast Asia and its interpretations and research methodology for its ‘cultural bloc’ composed of variable and dynamic cultural factors beyond the local area, will be set up as below.
